He has taught cosmetics throughout the United States and Canada. Dr. Elias and his wife Sharon have 4 children and 3 grandsons.
Dr. Opdahl was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended the University of Northern Iowa and received his BA in science. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the …University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1994 with honors. He became the youngest doctor to receive his accreditation by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has served as President and Vice President of the Pankey-Dawson Heart of America Study Club. He has worked in a hospital and has received advanced training in dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, and aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
