Dr. Kiron Pratap Torsekar, MD

I was a peds patient a long time ago, now I'm a grown adult. As a child, she would always call me fat and make me feel like crap, so much so that I remember hiding behind my living room couch crying because I did not want to go into her office for a visit. Mind you, I was probably 8 years old. I understand now as an adult she did not want me to become an obese unhealthy adult, but as a child physician, you should never comment on a child's weight to the child directly. She could have pulled one of my parents to the side and commented and tried to come up with a plan for a better diet for myself. Instead she scarred me for years after to going to the doctors office and constantly being put down. I'm very blessed as an adult I've found a wonderful primary care doctor who actually listens to my concerns and addresses them the correct way and makes me feel good about myself. For years I was terrified to get a doctor due to all the bad memories I had as a small child being overweight. I… look back and just want to give my younger self a hug because children DO NOT need to feel bad about themselves in ANY way especially while they're still growing and developing into young adults.

Dr. Torsekar is not only the pediatrician for all four of my children, she was my husbands pediatrician when he was younger. She is the only pediatrician I have heard of that will call you the next morning , after an unexpected late night ER visit, to ask how a child is doing! She is VERY nice and goes out of her way to explain what she is talking about. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

SHES WONDERFUL!

I am a patient of Dr. Kiron Torsekar, and I feel that she is very opinionated and only worries about payment. She does not care about the wellness of the patient, and often yells and argues with parents/guardians when they ask questions. I refuse to go there ever again, and I would recommend to not take your child there. *Prices are also EXTREMELY high!!!

Dr. Torsekar was my peds dr then my nephews and now my son and the care she gives is wonderful she makes u feel special and part of the family. I would recommend her to anyone who wants quality care for their family without all the fluff.

Excellent Dr., Excellent Staff, patient for 12 years.

Dr. Torsekar was our pediatrician for 12 years before we moved away. She always treated our children so warmly that they looked forward to appointments! She spent whatever time was necessary with children and parents to diagnose, communicate, explain, or just to help alleviate fears. Her Nurse Practitioner followed the same principles of care, as did the rest of the office--from nurses to receptionist. We miss this office and would absolutely return if we moved back to the area!
