Dr. Kirsten Ann Lentsch, MD

This practice cares nothing about providing good care to children. They only care about getting patients in and out quickly, spending little time with them and wracking up charges. They misdiagnosed an ear infection! They practice unethical business practices by "firing" patients who see another closer doctor for a sick visit and seem to relish the confrontation by doing so in person rather than letting the parent know when confirming the appointment. There are much better Practices in the area! I do not recommend Cinco Ranch Pediatrics and actually think their business ethics and policies should be investigated!

In and out. If your concern is time this is the right place. I need a Dr who spends time with me and listen to all my concerns, I do not rush to get a presciption, don't really like to give them medicine for everything.

Some good and some bad staff doctors but the owner Dr Lentch has a policy that they will not do parent consultations without the child there because they can't bill you. The office mgr said this verbatim. They only care about billing and $'s you can find better pediatrics in Katy!

Dr. Lentsch and her entire staff are fantastic! We LOVE her. You can ALWAYS get an appointment when you need one, and there is never more than 2-3 minutes wait in the waiting room. Dr. Lentsch is a super fast talker, but don't make the mistake of thinking you're being rushed out. She is always willing to spend as much time as necessary to discuss concerns. Everyone is very friendly and very knowledgeable.

The good: one can make appointments and bring child in relatively quickly and easily. The wait time is good as well. The bad: the wait time is good because they are too busy trying to hurry up the visit and get out of there and onto the next patient, it seems. My kids used to see Dr. Lentsch before she "dumped" our children on the other doctors at the practice. This really upset me as I have been taking my kids there since the days of just Dr. Lentsch and Helen (the lovely nurse practioner). I decided to give the benefit of the doubt and try the different doctors and oh my! They all seem fresh out of college. It took one doc, what seemed like 20 minutes to diagnose what "might" be an ear infection...yeah that didn't inspire much confidence! I finally had it after one doctor snapped at my toddler for attempting to touch her stethoscope. Are you kidding me? This is a pediatrician's office for heaven's sake! You would think by now she would have found a gentler way of deterring… curious fingers!

We have been seeing Dr. Lentsch for many years, when she was a one-doctor practice. We liked her. Yes, she spoke very fast, almost to the point of having ADD. Yes, she and others at her practice seem to type on their laptop more than actually look at you. yes, there were times that the visit appeared very rush. But still, we liked her. Unfortunately, and what other reviewers on this website aren't telling you is that she NO LONGER sees patients. She is now spending more time managing her practice. It is rare to get an appointment with her. And because of this, I have just recently switched offices. I could go on and on about the other doctors at this practice, and the negatives, of which there are many, but suffice it to say that this practice has really gone down in terms of patient satisfaction and quality care.

I have been taking my 3 kids to Dr. Lentch since 2008 and I love her and her growing staff of doctors. As many have said, she doesn't keep you waiting for hours, which is a huge deal for me since I am a contractor. When you do sit with her, she listens intently and checks the kids thoroughly. My kids love to go there and the staff is always courteous and kind. I recommend this doctor to my friends regularly.

Best Doctor Ever

Speaks very fast and does not explain the problem. Does not have time for questions, and does not follow up. Office staff does not want to be bothered with medical insurance, so they will not answer questions about insurance or overages that they charge.

We love her. I couldn't have found a better doctor for my children and well as someone who really gets the kind of parent I am.
