Kirsti Rinne, CNM

Kirsti Rinne is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Intermountain Health's Nurse Midwives Clinic - OB/GYN in Murray, Utah and LDS Nurse Midwives, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She brings nearly two decades of experience caring for women across a wide range of settings. Her clinical background includes family planning, obstetric triage, maternal-fetal medicine, and full-scope midwifery care. Kirsti is passionate about partnering with patients through every stage of life, providing evidence-based care while honoring each individual's goals, values, and experiences.

In addition to her work in the United States, Kirsti has completed multiple assignments with Doctors Without Borders in Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Cameroon. In these resource-limited and humanitarian settings, she provided reproductive health care, managed maternity services, and trained local midwives and healthcare staff to help strengthen sustainable, community-based care. These …experiences deepened her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered medicine and reinforced her belief that high-quality health care begins with listening, education, and meaningful human connection.

Outside of work, Kirsti enjoys exploring Utah's mountains and deserts, trail running, and spending time outdoors with her pup, Toffle.
