"Kristy Freshwater should take an implicit biased test and receive appropriate training. I saw Nurse Freshwater after experiencing extreme pain and vomiting (daily for 2 months). I for a referral to see a gastroenterologist, but Kristy refused, telling me that I "wasn't bleeding" and it would take months get an appointment anyway. Nurse Freshwater didn't even examine me (touch my belly where the pain was) during the appointment. Even after I explained that I could only eat one type of meal without vomiting -- every single day, she gave me heartburn medication and suggested that I do a Fod-Map. Two months later I ended up in the ER for surgery to have my gallbladder removed. This surgery could have been avoided if Nurse Freshwater actually cared for me. I am a Black woman and clearly Nurse Freshwater did not listen when I told her how much pain I was in and try to help me. The surgery was expensive and painful and could have been prevented with medication had Nurse Freshwater… refer me like I asked her to. "
