I was sent to Piedmont Retinal Specilists for a retinal tear and a hemorrhagic vitreous detachmant. Dr. Govind was thorough, professional and explained things every step of the way, He even showed me the scans and pictures and pointed out the tear and the place the blood accumulated in the back of my eye. He performed the lazer procedure right there in the office with a very friendly assistant. I really appreciated his honesty, in explaining that I was still at risk for more tears and complications, which only served to make me do the things that I was supposed to do to heal. At the end of the procedure he asked me if I had any further questions. Thank you Dr. Govind.

Patient was asked, “Why are you here?” Dr G. continued to badger the patient rewording the question and asking again and again. I was witness, not patient. He was critic when she asked him something. This is no way to treat anyone especially a senior.
