Dr. Kishlay Anand

We absolutely loved Dr Kishlay Anand, as a person, but things changed and we are no longer happy with him as our Dr. To many repeated tests with no evidence they are needed. We were never able to get thorough understandable explanations for our labs, or tests results, or how to get our hearts back to being healthy again. The constant testing without any evidence of problems that we were made aware of that required these tests. Some discrepancies in our medical care and what we were being told, made it impossible for us to really know or understand what was going on with our health. The constant changes in staff with less than desirable nurses and nurse practitioners made us feel uneasy. The appointment scheduler’s made too many mistakes and made it hard for us to make appointments that mattered. We truly regret that we had to leave Dr Anand’s practice but we felt lost with him and his staff lately. I will say that my original cardiologist from over 20 years ago, Dipak Jana, MD,… FACC, is the best of the best and I only wish he wasn’t affiliated with Dr Anand’s practice so we could return to his care.

I would give him a 0 if I could. He was about to take our mom in to the o r for her procedure a cardiac ablation, when she mentioned she was not on any blood thinners, he then proceed to look at her chart and found she did not have a script, we told him she had not taken any for 3 years. He told us blood thinners were a must for this procedure, we ask why he didn’t prescribe her one. His answer was he thought she was on one. His only comment was we dropped the ball and he was sorry for the inconvenience and that it was an inconvenience for him also. Inconvenience for him??? Yes it was an inconvenience for my sister and I as we took Unpaid time off work and purchased plane tickets. As for our mother this is a life threatening delay not an inconvenience. This is a Huge Breach of the Standard of Care.

Nice Cardiologist; has a thick accent and hard to understand at times; I always get stuck with his nurse practitioner in follow up who is slow and unsure of himself.

Followup visit was timely, informative and personable!
