Dr. Kishore Kumar Arcot, MD

Dr. Arcot is the best in the business. He takes his time, he listens and he makes sure that the vein issues are resolved. He takes his time with patients and has a good bedside manner. He is kind, caring, and understanding. I cannot say enough about the care I was given by Dr. Arcot and his staff.

Dr. Arcot saved my husbands life! My husband and I currently live in Florida but did previously live in Tennessee where my husband was a patient of Dr. Arcot being treated for varicose veins. My husband had been having chest pain. We saw two cardiologist in Florida and after some tests were told he was fine. My husband continued to have severe chest pains. We made an appointment with Dr. Arcot in Memphis and he ran some additional test. We traveled back home to Florida and within two days we received a call from Dr. Arcot asking how quick we could get back to Memphis. My husband and I took the next flight out. Dr. Arcot did a cardiac catheteriztion and found a 94% calcium blockage in the left anterior descending artery (LAD) aka the widow-maker. Dr. Arcot successfully cleared the blockage and placed a stent. If not for Dr. Arcot my husband may have not survived to see another Christmas. Dr. Arcot and his team at the Memphis Vein Center are remarkable! Nurse Cathy worked… diligently with the Veterans Affairs (VA) and the insurance company to make things work. I actually went to Dr. Arcot for a second opinion. He was very honest and thorough. In fact, the previous doctor had misdiagnosed me and Dr. Arcot saved me from having an unnecessary surgery which could have been a quick paycheck. I truly appreciate his office staff and his professionalism and honesty.

I have always had an excellent experience. I am always greeted with a smile. Dr. Arcot is always cordial and persistent. He is very through. The staff is wonderful. I would give them a 100. I would definitely recommend Memphis Cardiology and Vein Center.

Rest assured that there is probably no other Cardiology Practice like this in the world. He is punctual and is clinically knowledgeable beyond comprehension! This was my third visit to Dr. Arcot. I was diagnosed by him with lymphedema a couple of months ago. He recommended that I be given a lymph pump, which my insurance covered and was given to me. I still have experienced severe pain and swelling in my lower leg. I did a follow up since he is shown to be the only doctor who specializes with lymphedema here in Memphis. Today was my appointment, he greets me, asks how am I. I let him know how I am feeling. His response is “I have given you the pump”. I’m like ok, the pump is not working. Can you help with the pain and therapy. Looking for an alternative, his reply to me was lose some weight. I’m like what??? I walked in your office fully aware that I am FAT… but that’s all you have to say to me. No empathy at all. In my opinion I could have said a few choice words about his OVERLY HAIRY APPEARANCE, but I kept that to myself. He doesn’t have to worry about me again..he is definitely too privileged and proud, I rate him 0. Beware.

Dr. Arcot has been my doctor for many years. He is always concerned about my health in all aspects. He has always taken the time to talk to me and listen to my concerns. I always feel comfortable and his staff is always friendly to me.
