FINALLY! A doctor who is not all about pushing more prescription pills. With my first neurologist every time I would see him, I would walk out with yet another pill to add to my collection. With Dr. Santwani, I was able to cut down to 1 prescription, 1 over the counter supplement and we discussed making changes to my lifestyle and now my migraines are better than ever - all with less pills!! Its rare to find a doctor these days thats willing to do anything but prescribe pills so I was glad to find a good one that took the time to look beyond that.

Dr. Santwani is a wonderful doctor but his office staff is one of the most unhelpful group of people I have ever struggled to work with. Trying to get in touch with him for test results, etc. was more than frustrating, due mostly to his inept and uncaring office staff.

Can't say enough nice things about him and his staff. We were not getting anywhere with previous doctor and went for 2nd opinion. He and his staff thought outside the box and figured it out. Simple answer to complex problem. So grateful.

I have suffered with headaches since I was about 6 or 7. I had difficulty in school and then eventually with my job. It was literally a disability. I finally came to Suburban Neurology Group and now my headaches are finally in control. It took a few tries to find the best medicine combination but Dr and his NP really took the time and they knew about the latest medicines. I am so grateful to them. I feel like a normal person. Only people with severe and chronic headaches will appreciate what I have been through. Anyway, I do recommend this clinic and feel fortunate to have found them.

I went with my husband for his first appointment with Dr. Santwani. We expected the typical 15-minute rushed medical appointment. Instead, Dr. Santwani spent almost an hour with my husband and myself. We found him to be an an extremely compassionate and thorough doctor. We had almost cancelled our appointment because we thought 5 weeks was too long to wait .. but we were glad we didn't because of how great our visit was. Dr. Santwani gets a 2 thumbs up in our book.

Dr. Santwani literally saved my life. I was having trouble walking which was getting worse. MY first neurologist told me I had neuropathy in my feet and said there was nothing that could be done. During my first visit with Dr. Santwani, he told me that he thought that the problem was in my spine, not my feet. He was right!!! My spinal cord in my mid back was being compressed. I finally got the help I needed and now my walking has improved leaps-and-bounds. My walking is about 90% back to what is was. I am convinced if I had not seen Dr. Santwani for a second opinion, I would have spent the rest of my days in a wheelchair. I RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY!!!!!

More than 20 years of verious neurologists, and finally someone who cares and listens. I've been seeing Dr. Santwani for over two years and he has consistently listened, been compassionate, returned phone calls, and takes issues seriously. His staff has always been professional and courteous. I only wish I had found him sooner!

When I initially called to make my appt, I was going to have to wait 6 weeks to see Dr. Santwani. The front desk told me they would see if they could get me in earlier if deemed necessary. The next day I received a call and a new appt for the next week! I was so relieved. I waited about 20 minutes at the office but that didn't bother me at all. My visit with the doctor was extremely thorough and I felt listened to. He is an extremely compassionate, intelligent and likable doctor. He made me feel that he would do what he could to get to the bottom of my pain. Or find the right person who could. Its rare to find a doctor who makes you feel like a human. I definately recommend even if you have to wait.

I have a chronic condition that I thought would never get better because that is what I was told by several other doctors that I had seen in the past. I wait several weeks to see Dr Santwani and it literally changed my life. He listened very carefully to my symptoms and did a thorough exam and ordered tests and it turns out that I had been misdiagnosed in the past. I am now under his care and feel 100% normal again. I am so thankful that I found someone who looked outside the box. I would highly recommend this doctor. His staff and assistants and nurses are wonderful as well.
