Dr. Kishoree Jayant Patel, MD

My own long time doctor was out of town and this was the only person available to see me in order to renew my migraine medication. I should have waited for my doctor's return and endured the migraines. I couldn't understand half of what she was saying. Then she started advising me to stop taking another medication I have been taking for years for an ongoing issue. This other medication has a few potential side effects, all of which I am perfectly aware. I've had valuable discussions with my regular doctor about its pros and cons for 20 years. I came home and read up on this doctor. I recommend you check out the internet yourself PRIOR to your visit.

Dr. Petal is very friendly and nice. I never feel rushed ad she is very thorough. The nurses and social worker (Kim) are also excellent people.

I've been seeing her for many years. She's very kind and you never feel rushed. It's also very easy to talk with her and the follow up of the nurses is also great.

As a first time patient of dr kishore Patel I was surprised that she had very little knowledge in caring for patients with chronic pain conditions who are permanently disabled. She was clearly arguemenitive during my visit about my condition talking over the top of me, suffice it to say my healthcare is very important to me and I was treated very rudely and with disrespect. She would not renue my medications that I'd been taking for 6 years tried to force test on me that I did not go to the visit for, her office staff after the visit I told I wanted to file a complaint about the doctor said their office manager would call me. She didn't bother to call me back. This doctor needs some training in many disciplines she doesn't possess. Would not ever be seen by her ever again.

I care for a disabled man and had a 1st time apt with Dr. Kishoree Patel. I am also a Nurse. In my 30+ years of Nursing I've never had a Physician behave so unprofessional, disrespectful, rude and paranoid. At one point during the apt. she accused me of videotaping her because I was holding my cell phone. She clearly did not have the knowledge to be making medical decisions and repeatedly stated this man could not take a medication prescribed by Neurologist years ago, 'because my computer says you can't take this'

She places #1 for cursory exams,poor bedside manner and fitting into a "managed care " system.I wasnt even asked as to WHY I was taking 2 of my 3 prescription meds.Very very sad if this is indeed what managed care has come to.
