Dr. Kisun Lee, DO

I ended care with Dr. Lee because my appointments consistently felt unsafe and demeaning. Her communication came across as condescending and covertly authoritative, making trust impossible. Over time I felt routinely disbelieved, with shifting or unclear requirements and last-minute hurdles around refills. On one occasion I discovered at the pharmacy that a urine drug screen had been placed as a condition without any prior notice; I was told it was “policy,” and later learned it was discretionary. This pattern felt less like patient care and more like gatekeeping. Because I could not build a respectful, collaborative relationship, I limited visits to the bare minimum and paid out of pocket to work with other clinicians who treated me with dignity. Bottom line: I did not feel safe, heard, or trusted in this clinic. I would not recommend Dr. Lee, especially to neurodivergent patients who need clear communication and good-faith collaboration.
