Dr. Kitturah Bettes Schomberg-Klaiss, DO

She came in to my room with a student. She failed to introduce herself or the student! Nor did she ask if I wanted my healthcare information to be disclosed in front of the student. She also failed to review any objective data before prescribing medication, she went solely off subjective data. I’m a HCP; however, I didn’t tell her that. Very rude! During my visit, I made up my mind to never come here again. The receptionist and aid that took vitals were nice. The doctor was awful.

I have seen Dr. Kalisz several times at AFC, Calera, Al. She always listens, takes time, and provides excellent care. My favorite doctor of all time.

She has horrible bedside manner. Very rude. She should pick a different profession because she doesn’t show much care or concern.

I went to Urgent care after my 2 Pit bulls got in a dog fight and i got bit (9 bite wounds on one hand). The staff were prompt in getting me back and getting it cleaned up. She told me “Ive seen worse”. I asked to please get a pain shot, and was given a Torodol shot and suggested at first taking Ibuprofen for pain at home! They could see from my records I have no history of narcotic use or abuse. I asked again for pain med, she gave me #9 Norco 5mg with directions to take 1/2-1 as needed. By the next week it was infected, my primary doc sent me to a surgeron who did surgery the next morning to clean it out and repair tendon. She was very cold hearted, sad to see this from some docs.

I loved having Dr Klaiss as my family Dr. She was great with my children and was always quick to fit us in when we needed to see her!

Very rude, diagnosed me with "common cold" and refused to prescribe any medication. Went to another doctor the next day, and was accurately diagnosed with walking pneumonia and a sinus infection.

My husband took them to this doc for her to see them after 2 days of running fever after 3 and half hours she said they have a common cold????? 103 with a common cold ran no tests backwood hills has eyes doc stay away from her!!!
