Kiwon Kenneth Shin, DDS
Dr. Shin graduated from New York University's College of Dentistry. He then went on to complete a 2 year program in Light Force Orthodontia under Dr. Richard Conlin. Dr. Shin was appointed to Clinical Assistant Professor in 1996 following the completion of NYU's 2 Year Surgical/Prosthetic Implantology Program. He currently serves as Clinic Director and Section Leader in that program.
Dr. Shin is a frequent lecturer internationally and nationally. He has performed live advanced bone grafting surgeries for various international and local implant study clubs. He has mentored many dentists who are in their early phase of learning implant dentistry. Dr. Shin's wealth of knowledge comes from thousands of hours of continuing education and clinical experience.
From 2002-2003, Dr. Shin served as President for the Korean American Dental Association. He currently serves as an active member. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General …Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Shin is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Shin is married to Jenny and has one daughter and two sons. His hobbies include travel, golf, and music.
