Dr. Ebersole is a great surgeon, but he is also wonderful with patients. He really takes the time a person needs to feel comfortable with what is happening to them. He will explain everything in a way that you can understand and welcomes your input and questions as a part of the process. He is rare gem!

My very independent 86 year old mother was diagnosed with a brain stem aneurysm and was referred to Dr Ebersole. He was very thorough in ordering diagnostic tests and in taking plenty of time to carefully explain all her options and patiently answering all our questions. He was diligently monitoring the aneurysm when it suddenly grew very large because the small existing vessel had closed itself off. After he again carefully explained all the risks of an arteriogram and possible treatment for a person of her age, my mother chose to proceed. Dr Ebersole literally saved her life in the 11th hour with a procedure using super glue to minimize chances of a stroke. This was three weeks ago and she is doing very well and expected to make a full recovery. I would put my brain in Dr. Ebersole's hands without hesitation.

He wanted to do brain surgery based on his diagnosis yet a 2nd and 3rd opinion form neurosurgens at Mayo Clinic said it was unnecessary and not recommended.
