Dr. Kok Chye Tan, MD

Dr KC Tan helped to restore my mother's eyesight. He is a rare doctor who can actually cure blindness! Thank you Dr Tan. You are an angel.

DR Tan was very quick to my Grandfathers aid in placing nephrostomy tubes when another doctor failed to place ureteral stents. Once the tubes were placed Tan reassessed the situation, and was able to perform the procedure the other doctor was not. Without Doctor Tans determination and unmatched ability this would not have been possible. Dr not only jumped in to complete this procedure at a moments notice he did it on the Lunar New Year when he was scheduled to be off spending time with his family. He is a truly selfless human being and top of his field.

I have Medicare and accepted by KC Tan MD. Corporation. Dr. Tan should accept what Medicare paid and I should pay what Medicare decided. Usually Medicare do not pay as much as doctor asks. I am so shocked after he accepted Medicare he sent me a bill $745.00 that Medicare did not say it is patient's responsibility. I emailed his office and they sent me to collection agency.

What you will not hear about Dr KC Tan, is how Methodist Hospital of SC is protecting him, the hospital is keeping under wraps how he sexually harasses nurses. The hospital threatens them with getting terminated and losing their license so that they are scared to report anything and remain victims of Dr KC Tan.

I have never encountered a more RUDE physician before. His response time was also lagging. He needs to learn to chill out in front of patients. An irate physician takes away from his professional appearance. I don't doubt his skills, however when you interact with a physician behaving so poorly, it leaves a bad lasting impression.

Dr KC Tan is a GREAT Dr, not the warmest but great at what he does. He has an good bedside manner. I would highly recommend him and Methodist hospital
