The good thing i can say about thid doctord office is that the nurses are definitely nice and sweet and they are very good at getting back to you. However overall I am an unhappy patient. Firstly out of the 5 times i been there with concerns from symptoms such as uncontrollable anxiety and inability to exercise, Dr.Hoff saw me once and that was my firs time going there. The nurses we very unknowledgeable as their answer for my concerns were all 'you should be feeling this way under this medication'. I also showed the thyroid tests to another doctor and he said that the tests were outdated. To do a proper thyroid tests, many tests other than just a standard TSH are required. I wasted so much time and money traveling to this place. I expected better since it was Penn Medicine but I wish i knew better before i did all of my research. I feel like I couldnt fully live my life without a well treated thyroid.

I don't know why the other patients are giving him such high ratings??? I've been a patient for 3 1/2 yrs and I find his bedside manner to be RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I see him for thyroid cancer and I was confessing to him about my weight struggles and he got all mad and red in the face and told me, "that I should keep my big fat trap (mouth) shut!" in order not to gain weight! I was stunned I couldn't believe he responded to me in that manner!!! He should take a little of his own advise since he obviously has an eating problem himself!!!!!
