Dr. Komal Agarwal, MD

Dr. Komal is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

This office is absolutely horrible at returning phone calls!!! No concern for patient's overall well being.

Dr. Agarwahl is an excellent doctor. She treats me with respect and dignity. Goes way beyond to make sure I get the care I need. She is always kind yet professional.

If there were NO stars that'd be better! Dr. Agarwal treated me like a drug addict for nine months even asking if I'd ever been on or heard of Suboxone. I had an infected tooth that was painful and so badly infected there was pus going into my gums. I was put on a very low dose of hydrocodone and an antibiotic for that infection. I brought in a posted note for Dr. Agarwal to put in my file. On it was my dentists phone number, name, what day's I had seen him, and my prescriptions name, even how many a day and their milligram. She kept telling me, "I do not need those kind of papers".I had a enough of the backhanded remarks and so did my husband. I tried to change to a different OBGYN but "I was to far along" to all of the OBGYN'S I wanted so badly to see me. I purposely missed visits with her because all I was to her was a pregnant drug addict. It was hurtful to my husband and I because I would never harm my baby! I had a c-section scheduled but luckily my little one had… other plans and came early. We got her on call Doctor for that particular weekend and I couldn't of been anymore ecstatic. Dr. Boerner delivered my child that day and was a breath of fresh air. He is so kind and treated me with so much respect. The kind of respect I deserved all along. Things only got worse..... I got an on call pediatrician after a small amount of Labor and Delivery. He came in to the hospital room I was stuck in for 5 days. He tells me that he had read my chart from Dr. Agarwal's office. He went on to say, "Now is my call from reading what she wrote and that your baby is going through withdrawals as we speak". "I called CPS and your babies cord blood has been sent to Indy for testing". He also treated me like a drug addict and didn't know me from the time he read my chart to this moment. My first 5 days with my husband and our newborn baby was horrific. We will never get that special time back. I had to send people away from visiting us and have their first moments as well because CPS needing information. I even had to take a saliva drug test for the caseworker. I never hide a thing but to almost every medical worker treating my baby and I just followed suit that I wasn't telling the truth. I switched pediatricians and she believed me and sent me home. The first time CPS came to our home was when he met my husband while I "resting" in the hospital. He had gone through cabinets, our refrigerator, then room to room. Dr. Agarwal was even at the hospital and didn't one time come check on us after nine months and Labor and Delivery!! Our caseworker asked for another saliva drug test at our home and I absolutely said Yes of course. He told me, "Ma'am your and your little one's cord blood results came in. The test was NEGATIVE for all drugs. I was to far from "I told everyone so" to respond!! I haven't heard anything since not even an apology from her or the pediatrician.

I can not believe how rude and unprofessional this doctor is basically accused me for being on drugs and asked to send my blood off to get tested of course I let her because I’m not but I can’t believe how rude and how stupid she made me feel!

My doctor refferred me to Dr Agarwal for a mass in my female organs. Dr Agarwal was very professional. I was sold for her bedside manners and sense of humor. After getting further scans and labs, Dr Agarwal removed a cyst of my ovary within 1 week. She is a amazing surgeon, all I had on my belly is a couple of key holes and I went home the same evening. The biopsy was a cancer and I am so thankful that it was removed. Would highly recommend*****

I am a r\high risk pregnancy an my dr refereed me to her. I had a apt to meet her an only seen her nurse. Then i had my ultra sound they called me an told me my baby was dead. Wanted to schedule me for a D&C. Then would not even give me a day off work to deal with this after i had already lost one baby. So i made another apt with her after my next ultra sound where we found a heart beat. Then when i went to her office again i had to deal with her nurse an never seen her. Her office if very unprofessional. an slightly rude seemed very unconcerned with my pregnancy.
