Dr. Kongsak Chantornsaeng, MD

I have seen Dr. Chantornsaeng many times. Each time I saw him he treated me like a statistic. Our first visit consisted of questions to rule out Hepatitis. Not only was standing 3 feet from me when he said "breath" (meaning take a deep breath), but when he moved his stethoscope to my chest he said "breath normal." As he moved from the my back to my chest he did some type of strange movement with his hands, as though he was practicing tai-chi. Perhaps he was rearranging my chakra, or brushing off his hands from the cooties, but one would think that the use of latex gloves would have kept him from that??? Not only did he treat me like less than the person that I am, but ever after explaining to him that I was a very educated individual, and knew my body and what was going on with it, he acted as though I had no clue. His series of questions had me feeling like I could have been a drug head, asking even "do you want me to give you da pain pills?" Perhaps I should have not told him that I… don't have hepatitis or that I have been with the same sexual partner for over 14 years, or that I have never abused drugs and allowed him to prescribe them. After all, my shoulder had been hurting, and seeking answers as to why his prescription was an x-ray, blood work, and a follow up appointment. Following his orders I had the x-ray done as well as the blood work right there in the office located behind his office, and low and behold they had lost my x-ray, found my blood work, and I was told that although my blood sugar was high, that it was okay, and that my cholesterol was bad. Thank God my husband was with me and that he suggested an A1C test to further clarify whether or not I have full blown diabetes or still just boarder line, because had it not been for that blood test they wouldn't have found my (digital) x-ray that proved to be unremarkable (according to the x-ray tech. as he hadn't even looked at them). After the x-ray report I told him my back had been hurting, and that my husband thought I might have MS seeing that I have a lot of other symptoms that say that's what I could be experiencing. Well he referred me to neuro, who said it could be, but would need further testing, yet his answer was "I knew a real person with MS and I don't think you have it." After seeing neuro, he asked if I had MS with a smirk on his face as though he expected to be proven right. Speaking up I let him know that further testing needed to take place to either rule in or rule it out. Needless to say that was the last time I will go see him, because just like the x-ray of my shoulder, my back was unremarkable too. If you don't want answers, want to be mocked, and be made to feel like a drug seeker, he is your doctor.

Doc. did not tell me what was wrong with my daughter, left with no answers, He acted as if we were contageous. Acted as if he didn't know how to put on a tethoscope. Asked my daughter how long her throat has been hurting, and she had no problem with her throat. Could not understand him to well when he spoke.
