My husband and I had the surgery done in both eyes by Dr. Filutowski about 8 years ago. Since the first day we had wonderful results. We still today enjoy the improvement of our sight and no glasses. Great experience and appreciation for Dr Filutowski expertise.

My cataract surgery at Filutowski Eye Institute was a fantastic experience. After surgery in both eyes I have not had to wear reading glasses. From the first call to schedule the surgery, through the last appointment, the staff was so professional. Meckenzie scheduled my appointments. She is patient and has a cheerful demeanor. Meckenzie sets an excellent standard of customer service. She makes a remarkable first impression for the Filutowski Eye Institute. Katherine also impressed me with the way she cares for the patient. She is professional and knowledgeable and makes you feel like you are the only patient. Both Meckenzie and Katherine were very professional and personable. Felt the sharp incision during the procedure. Vision no better due to lazy eye. Dr. bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. Endless hours of waiting for pre op consult and surgery.

I did cataract surgery in one of my eyes with Dr Filtwiski. Extremely disappointed Of the result since day one. I went many times to explain my frustration and the answer was nothing we can do more. Let us do surgery on the other one(so They damage it as well) it is all about money and the patient is totally neglected. I will never recommend him at all . He just takes you around and around. Very very sad of my result and I really regret I went or knew him. He was of no help at all to fix my problem. Be careful.

I had none of the issues that I have read here. I have been seen on time, the staff is great. My distance and middle vision has been corrected to 20/15 and glasses for reading. Filutowski Eye Institute is a good place to have eye surgery.

SENIORS RIP-OFF ALERT!!!! I contacted Filutowski a month and a half in advance to obtain an eye exam. Like a lot of Seniors I'm on a fixed income and was concerned about costs. I had agreed to a $40 co-pay and arrived to fill out an update to my paperwork. Part of the paperwork was a disclosure that an additional $50 would be due for additional refractory services. I specifically questioned the customer service representative who assured me that the entire matter would only be $40. The exam went smoothly and I was given a prescription for corrective glasses. At the receptionist's desk on the way out they confiscated the prescription and told me it would be an additional $50. I was shocked, but since I needed the prescription I paid. I later contacted Lee Ann at Humana and she confirmed this was outrageous. In addition this potential extra charge was not disclosed to me a month and a half ago when I made the appointment.

Having given this guy thousands of dollars he sends a $15.00 balance to a collection agency !!!! A courtesy call from the accounting department would have been nice. He thinks he is more important than he really is.

Billed my insurance incorrectly. Wanted me to then pay for a copy of my glasses prescription. I have never had this before. I went to another doctor who not only gave me samples of medicine to solve my eye problem but billed insurance correctly. The doctor at Filutowski was very considerate and caring but did not solve the problem. They might be fine for lasik or cataract surgery but for general eye exams, go somewhere else.

My Husband had cataracts in both eyes. With him being diabetic, I was very concerned. The comfort and concern their Daytona office provided is TOP CLASS!! We found our vision experts for life!!
