Dr. Konrad Sigurd Schulze, MD

I, as just a teenager, have done a better job treating my disease than this man. Pathetic. Just from information found on the Mayo Clinic's website--which contradicted the nonsense Schuzle and his colleagues told me--I was able to put my disease in remission. Unfortunately, Schuzle and his colleagues had already caused a great deal of irreversible harm, so remission doesn't matter much now. I now hate my life and I always will. I hate the permanent side effects much more than my disease. If I could choose an active, severe disease over these permanent side effects, I would. That's why patients need to be told about side effects, etc. It's the law and it's also just the moral thing to do. Schuzle, however, doesn't seem to be concerned with either one. Even when I asked about side effects, he and his colleagues said not to worry about side effects. They said the drugs were safe. It seems they just wanted to get back to daydreaming, talking about their personal lives. He talked more about… himself than my disease. I, a teenager, was just diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. And I had never heard of it and didn't know anything about it. Yet instead of informing me about it, he told me that he speaks German, etc. I wasn't even told that ulcerative colitis is an incurable disease. He, along with his colleagues, acted like I'd take their drugs and be back to normal in a matter of weeks. Obviously, the nature of an incurable disease is that you have it forever, so this is extremely irresponsible. Patients need to know the reality of their diagnosis so they can cope and deal with reality. I trusted him, as I would've trusted any doctor. I trusted everything he said. But what he said was wrong. The side effects are now permanent and irreversible and have been debilitating. And my life is ruined. If I had known the drugs I was given were so dangerous, I never would've taken them. Many patients, particularly young patients like myself, don't take these drugs because of their dangers. My disease might one day be cured, but I'll have to forever live with the side effects resulting from Schuzles's reckless incompetence. If you like your life, you must avoid this doctor.

I have worked with Dr Schulze for over 6 years and I know that he cares about his patients. That mop review is a total farse!

A wet mop would care more about me as a patient than he does. No follow up. No communication.
