Dr. Konstantin V Elisevich, MD

Dr. Elisevich helped me when no other doctor would listen to. I am forever thankful for his wisdom and skill. I had a right temporal resection at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, August of 1995. I am grateful!

Dr. Elisevich , was a very nice and friendly doctor when I first saw him. I’m curious because I don’t see many reviews or awards before 2009. So I’m assuming that when he did my shunt in 2005. That I was a test study! I had a shunt placement for the diagnosis of Psuedo Tumor Cerebri now known as hydrocephalus! It wasn’t that heard of 17 1/2 years ago. With the shunt placement and seven yes 7 revisions and the removal of the shunt. That totaled 9 surgeries in one year 1 year. When I called after my last surgery I was dismissed by his personal nurse. Well after that from where he placed the shunt, through the back of my head and neck. I got bacterial meningitis on the tubing he left me. I’ve since seen other neurosurgeons, who would only say,” Off The Record.” Dr. Elisevich SHOULD HAVE NEVER USED THIS TYPE OF PLACEMENT FOR A SHUNT.” N here’s where it just is wrong on so many levels. My doctors sent me back to Dr. Elisevich 7 1/2 years ago. When I finally saw Dr. Elisevich he sat… across from me flipping through my records and says,” YOU HAD A PERITONEAL SHUNT, WHO WAS THE DOCTOR?” I do believe Dr Elisevich was a great doctor and helped a lot of people. However, I was left with so many things that have went wrong and swept under the rug. That I’ve existed for the past 17 1/2 years and having to file medical bankruptcy. From how you left me! Then to sit across from me and act like you don’t remember me or that you’re the doctor that did this.. with all your accomplishments that you have earned. I’m the patient that you never had to take accountability for. Which really sucks because, while you thrived, I Dr .Elisevich died. Humans make mistakes, so if your a human doctor in this world OWN YOUR MISTAKES.

This is just simply a very kind man. I had a right temporal lobe resection in the past. My right side was left sunken in. While doing another surgery he repaired my right side so it was not so obvious. Now I am looking at surgery #5. I will only consider 2 men for my surgeons, Dr. Elisevich is the #1

Dr, Elisevich did for me what no other doctor could... he cured me of my seizure disorder. GOD WORKS THROUGH THIS MAN!

Dr Elisevich took 3 brain tumors from my r temporal lobe. I AM SEIZURE FREE. 3 Days after surgery I went home, If I ever need surgery again I want Dr Elisevich. I cannot recommend him enough. He is compassionate, and excellent at his profession. He acts as if being a surgeon is his calling, not just a job.

i wish i knew where he moved to so i could follow him these other drs do not know what they are doing and i hate them i was assaulted a week after my surgery and had 20 plus staples in my shunt and felt it pop but these new drs wont do anything and if i had dr. elisevich there he wouldnt play that game he would be getting right down to business

Loved him from the second I met him. In fact 6 weeks after meeting him he passed by me and remembered everything about me. he has quite a sense of humor that I found refreshing others may find offensive. I had my surgery two years ago and after a lifetime of seizures have been seizure free since.
