Dr Melahoarce & staff genuinely care. It’s hard to come across a physician that truly listens. I trust this dr. Well educated.. staff is kind & knowledgeable as well.

A doctor who actually listens to what you say. Who will draw his own blood. Who actually acts like he cares about your well being. If you want to have a doctor who behaves like the family practitioner you have only heard about from the old days, this is the doctor for you.

The doctors at the Southland Family & Urgent Care tend to be decent, but the staff at the front desk and in the billing department are not always friendly. The billing person is exceptionally unfriendly and unhelpful.

Dr Mel and his staff are amazing, they treat you like family! Dr. Mel has been our family physician for 10 years, he is very warm and caring. He saved my husband from a massive heart attack with his amazing diagnostic ability. I recommend him to everyone. There is no place my family would rather go for healthcare.

Bad Doctor...

I'm going to make the doctor at this Urgent Care my Primary Care Physician. He is so thorough and very caring. I had a choice of going to an urgent care or the ER and I'm so glad I chose this Urgent Care in particular. In my initial visit, after a few X-rays they found I had pneumonia, gave me two shots, a breathing treatment and lots of medication to go. The price was WAY less than the ER would have been and I was in and out way quicker than I would have been in the ER. I had to go back last night because the pneumonia came back. I got there right before they closed but they took me in, fixed me up again and sent me home feeling so much better, again. This Dr is by far the BEST doctor I've ever been to and I highly recommend him!

this Dr has a poor staff and the accounting man is a crook he overbills so be carefull.
