At the begging of my internist I visited Dr. Z at Trim Med in Bayside. what a great doc. he explained everything in detail and i felt like i knew him all my life. I lost 45 pounds in 20 weeks and have kept it off!! It was so easy! Never hungry and his weekly chats were priceless!! Highly recommend him if you really want to loose the weight the right way! Thanks Dr. Z!!

I went to Trim Med and with Dr. Zarkadas' help I lost 50 pounds! The food was great and the doc was so caring and knowledgable!! I would say that if anyone wants to lose weight his program is by far the best!!!

I had the worst experience with this program. At first I lost weight, about 20lbs, (eventhough I was guaranteed to loose more than 40 in no more than 2-3 months!!!) Then I,ve hit the great plateau... and I hit it hard!! I wasnt losing anything for 4 consecutive months so I stopped going. I then did some research and I am finding out that these type of weight loss programs literally can destroy your metabolism...and I am only 28years old. I was very disappointed and mad at myself bcause I didnt look in to this before i started. I was so desparate and thus vulnerable & gullible that I harmed my body than helping it. this is not about the doctor but the weight loss program he promotes. Be carefull guys!!!

With a smile on his face, Dr. Zarkadas succinctly said, "And how successful have you been in taking off that weight and keeping it off?" He had a point. Over the past five years, I went to three nutritionists and only lost 20lbs which quickly rebounded. During the four months of Dr. Z's diet program, I lost 47lbs and achieved my goal: I am no longer a Type 2 Diabetic! There were additional side benefits: a significant drop in my cholesterol levels, a resurgence of my former 'dormant' metabolism and a rebound of energy where I am able to mountain bike at least 10 miles daily and lift weights four times a week. What initially started as a 'medical' necessity turned into a new, invigorating and thrilling lifestyle. I endorse Dr. Zarkadas and his diet plan.
