I have always felt passionate about providing care to women during all stages of their lives.
I completed my nursing education at Moravian College and then spent nearly ten years as a labor and delivery nurse at St. Luke's Bethlehem. I cared for patients in triage, the operating and recovery rooms and postpartum. I was also a prenatal educator so I gave hospital tours and taught classes about newborn care, postpartum care and breastfeeding to pregnant moms and fathers-and grandparents-to-be. Education is so important to make new parents feel empowered, confident and knowledgeable about what to expect and how to care for themselves and their new babies. I felt very humbled to support and care for women on one of the most important days of their lives - giving birth and becoming a mother.
After my years in labor and delivery, I decided to go back to school to complete my graduate degree as part of the DeSales University Family Nurse Practitioner program.
Now, as a nurse practitioner …in an outpatient setting, I use my years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse to provide patients with compassionate, comprehensive, one-on-one care and help women feel in charge of their health and well-being.
When I'm not at work, I love to spend time with my husband, son and our family and friends. I love listening to country music and I’m a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan!
