Dr. Korta Yuasa, MD

In an office consultation, Dr. Yuasa listened carefully, asked good questions, explained his ideas very clearly, and went the extra distance to ensure that I was part of the decision making process. He is a very nice person which is helpful in establishing a good rapport. Before and after a procedure, he stopped by and was ready to answer any questions. Adding to my evaluation is his willingness to acknowledge when he is uncertain about something (in this case a particular medicine's side effects) and his immediate effort at learning about it and then conveying the information to me right away. This proved to be very helpful as we talked about an approach to my problem. He also called and left a detailed message after the procedure about a possible course of action and invited me to call back. In my experience, few doctors do that. I did return his call, left a message, and was delighted to hear back from him a short time later. He invited me to call any time I have a… question. There's no doubt that he cares about his patients and my assessment is that he is an excellent practitioner.

Dr. Yuasa is an excellent provider, very caring and responsive to his patients needs. I recently had some GI issues and not only did he make the time to see me but he made sure that I was able to reach him anytime for questions or concerns. He has been willing to work with me around my life and schedule and as a mom of 6 who works full time as a nurse, this means everything to me as I know just how busy his schedule is.

Dr Yuasa did my recent colonoscopy. He talked with me before and after my procedure. He had a good bedside manner and was very professional. I would highly recommend Dr Korta.

had a HORRIBLE bedside manner..

Dr. Yuasa and his staff were quite professional. He did not rush the visit and my waiting time was minimal. At present, tests are being ordered so there is no definite diagnosis. Dr. Yuasa is proactive as opposed to reactive. I highly recommend him!
