Dr. Kosi James Avotri, MD

Dr kosi Avotri was my daughter's pediatric Dr over 40 years ago in Dayton Ohio. I would recommend his service to anyone that is looking for the best care for their children.

When my son was born in 2010, Dr. Avotri was the pediatrician at the hospital who saw him. We loved him so much that he became our regular pediatrician until his practice closed in LaPlace, Louisiana. We still miss having him here!

When I was ten years old, I was a patient on Dr. Avotri here in Dayton Ohio. While grocery shopping with my mom, I slipped twice on a freshly waxed floor. The were no "wet floor" signs, so I had no idea that they were still damp. The next day, my mother took me to Children's hospital because my knees were still hurting and swollen. As a result of me falling due to the wet floor, I had fractured both knees. I was suppose to follow up with my pediatrician (Dr. Avotri). When seen, Dr. Avotri said that I was "thinking" I was in pain but really wasn't, and he diagnosed me with Osgood-Schlatter's Disease. At the age of ten I began to take Ibuprofen daily due to my constant pain. I'm now five months shy of thirty and the pain has never ceased. In fact, it has worsened. What do I suppose to do now, Dr. Avotri...almost twenty years later? You suppose to be a patient's advocate...what happened?
