Dr. Kothandapany Shalini

She provides excellent care and is very patient and takes time to discuss all matters of concern etc.

We have used Dr. Shalini for a couple of years now as our primary care provider. She is thorough and goes out of her way to answer questions, and makes sure the follow-up on lab results, etc. gets done. Her straightforward manner and attention to detail has caught issues a couple of times with members of my family that a less-responsive doc might have overlooked. We are very happy with her.

She is the best Dr. I have ever had in my 50 years of life. She has an amazing bed side manner and i feel that I'm well taken care of and she is concerned of my issues. I don't ever feel rushed like im just another patient.

For run of the mill things I guess she's okay. But I had a very bad sinus infection and she never thought to test for anything to determine the best antibiotic, just kept giving me different ones till one worked. I had some blood work done and it came back my testosterone was low. She said nothing about it in reviewing the results with me, so I said "Should I be concerned about this?" and she said "I can give you testosterone treatments if you want." But again, no thought as to diagnosing the cause. She did a digital prostate exam and told me it was fine not even slightly enlarged, but 3 months later an MRI showed it to be enlarged.

I am not sure if I am medically treated right during my last few visits to her office.
