Dr. Kourosh Saghafi, DO

I was assigned this doctor when I was admitted to the hospital from the emergency room. He told me his diagnosis but was not very informative. The day I was released from the hospital I called to make a follow up appointment, The gave me an appointment 5 weeks later. The day before my appointment they called and cancelled it. I immediately called to reschedule and was told it would be another 7 weeks before he could see me. For 6 weeks after I got out of the hospital, I felt lightheaded and exhausted. I had to find my own solution for my problem. I eventually found a new doctor to help me.

Very good .willing to keep trying to fix my problem .neck spine ?....

Been seeing him for a lil over a year always too busy messing with his brother to see patients on time rushes through appointments and has a very one sided opinion style feels like he is always taking down to you and that you are beneeth him and using his time he takes his time to do what you need and seems careless about your situation

He took care of my uncle in long term care facility. I really don't know if he ever personally saw him or not The was either a NP or PA that saw my uncle. When my uncle had a severe issue the Doctor kept telling everyone my uncle was generally confused but many health care professionals did not think that at all. He didn't seem to know my uncle very well and seemed to be giving wrong impression to those taking care of him in Nursing Home and when he went to Hospital ED. He gave orders to restrain my uncle in hopsital and I never was informed why. On one visit to the hospital a nursing home wanted a catheter left in to a make it easier for them, and Dr. Saghafi was agreeing, thank god for the Kidney Doctor who was the specialist and seemed to overrule him. Communication is very poor with doctor regarding elderly family members.

Made me very uncomfortable. When I was in the hospital he stopped to see me for maybe a total of 5 minutes the entire week I was there. He did not seem to want to be there. When I followed up with him he spent most of the time telling me he had no idea what was wrong with me, dismissing my concerns and answering with worst case guesses, which only manage to make me panic. I had just lost my job and he (on more than one occasion) lectured me for most of the appointment about getting a job taking out a loan and going to college. I was very uneasy every time I had to be in the same room as him as I felt he was being very cavalier about my condition and judgemental about my financial situation at the time. The receptionist was nice and asked questions and was very helpful. She seemed to care more than he did.

I meet Doctor Kourosh Saghafi almost a year ago when my husband suffered a terrible injury and all though my husband is still rehabbing I couldn't have imagine the first few months without Dr. Saghafi! He always listened to the patients and even the love ones of the patient I seen more times than not where the doctor doesn't listen to anyone but the nurses or other doctors but he listens regardless if u have medical degree or not! He really has been a God sent in my situation! I am very Grateful for the doctor!

This man literally saved my life at a time i had no health insurance....he kept me as a patient....explained everything to me in detail and takes time for me to understand everything he says to me...i will never change

The doctor managed the inpatient care of a family member...he literally spent no more than 1 minute 30 seconds in the room with the patient a day. He never explained the disease process or pathology, and his treatment methods were not evidence based. He did not inform the patient of his treatment plan and did not treat family with respect. Personally, I like my chances with the placebo effect much more.

Spends as much time as needed. Returns phone calls in a timely manner. Excellent bedside manner.
