Dr. Kourosh Kevin Shamlou, MD

Dr. Shamlou has been my Orthopedic doctor for over a decade. He is caring, and takes the time to explain his procedures. After my surgeries he always comes by to check up on me. I always feel better and heal very well after my operations. I never have had a problem and know that I am in good hands. My husband had his knee replaced too and it was successful. Dr. Shamlou's assistant Grace is awesome and such a hard worker too!!

Dr Shamlou, is not only a wonderful surgeon he also possesses a wonderful bedside manner. He is very professional, courteous, and patient. Dr. Shamlou has been my doctor for almost 9 years now. I am disabled from previous surgeries, performed by other surgeons. However, since Doctor Shamlou has taken over my case, my quality of life has improved immensely. I highly recommended Dr. Shamlou to anyone seeking a excellent and trustworthy surgeon. Absolutely five stars!

Great doctor, no complains. But staff not friendly, they will accept new patients right away but will not accommodate if you missed an appointment. Some staff have an attitude and do not reply or attend on your messages right away.

My 18 year old son saw Dr. Shamlou today for a fractured clavicle. Dr. Shamlou has an amazing bedside manner and put us at ease immediately. He explained my son's X-ray so that we could easily understand and proceeded to explain the course of treatment. I was referred to him by my workers comp attorney and initially had my doubts about him. The location in Riverside is somewhat outdated, but once you meet him, you know your in good hands. Kevin has operated on me twice, shoulder, torn acl and both times the operations were successful. Would highly recommend him for any surgery.

hello to every one: let me tell you my story abut my lower back i was not able to walk in one year and i was scared from surgery it was hard for me to find a experienced DR but i was lucky to fine Mr .Shamlou he is one of the best DR that i found ever when he was done my surgery i was able to walk after three hours, as honest patient i recommend all who has this problem has to see this wonderful, talented,kind, experienced,successful,DR . I am a candidate for L5-S1 fusion? My related friends and family have gone to him for similar treatments. They have said good things about him! I am hoping and praying to GOD and Christ Jesus that he can also help me also! I have read some reviews and gotten a lot of info on Dr. Shamlou, so far he has been very honest ( unfortunately ), Respectful, and very Professional !!! I pray he can help!

I love Dr. Shamlou for many reasons. He is very professional, caring,thorough,kind and I feel so confident in his expertise. I value his opinion and I am so very thankful that I have him as my Orthopedic Physcian. I have been going to him for maybe 10 years or more now. He came highly reccommended by a friend. You will not be sorry. If I had to complain it would be the fact that if you have an appointment you better keep it because they schedule two (2) weeks apart. All in all he is worth the wait.

Just love him. Saw him after two spinal surgeries from a different doc. He treats me for back, knees, hips, trigger finger. Setting up for that surgery in Jan 2013. Using my hands are my life profession. I am already fully disabled from my back and hip issues. So now my hands are my money tool to create. Totally confident in him. Have referred my daughter, son, husband, friends. I hope I never change insurances where I can't go to him.

Dr. Shamlou performed the first two of four spinal fusion surgeries that I have undergone since 2003. I give him high marks as a surgeon but give his staff a low mark for taking way too long to schedule the surgeries (< 3 months after the doctor ordered the surgery in both cases) and for very long wait times at the office (don't overbook.)
