Dr. Shaw - if you need a 2nd opinion about your cancer diagnosis, Dr. Shaw is the Doctor for your case. He has an excellent and compassionate bedside manner. He listened to our concerns and I asked so many questions. He made us feel comfortable about asking questions and giving us time to process the answers. He used medical language that we could understand without being condescending (which I hate in Doctors). There was no pressure for us to make our decision and he presented options for my husband that needed to be considered. I remember on the day of my husband surgery, I saw Dr. Shaw and I told him about our history (high school sweethearts reunited after 40 years) and I told Dr. Shaw that I needed more than the 2yrs that we have been married so far. I told him I was putting the love of my life in his skilled hands and I needed him to do the "best of his best" so that we could have lots more years together. He smiled, thanked me for telling him our story, and said he would take… great care of him. Well, he was a man of his word and I have great respect for Dr. Shaw and I appreciate all the time he spent with us. In fact, his entire staff was great during our entire process, especially his nurse, Courtney. She is absolutely amazing is the only way to put it.

I was cautious going to Dr. Shaw because his front office staff acted callous, humorless and very stern/unfriendly. Shaw performed a BHP on me flawlessly. He personally called a couple of days later to check how I was doing. He is very skilled and caring. I hope he get better front office help.

Horrid excuse of a doctor.

Dr. Shaw has been very helpful. I felt that I spent quality time with him so that we could figure out what needed to be done. He has addressed my condition and now we are working together to keep me healthy.

Dr. Shaw and his staff go above and beyond to take care of you.Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel like you are the most important patient they have.Dr. Shaw has great compassion, a good bedside manner, and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.
