I was treated like I was a drug addict looking for pain pills. I’m 61 years old and was diagnosed with Lupus in 2012. I take 1 5mg pain pill about every other day. I’m having some issues with my hip that he completely disregarded, told me I’ve been on pain medicine for so long that it makes my brain think the pain is worse than it is. And that my pain isn’t as bad as I think it is. I still work and am on my feet all day. I know my pain is real and by the end of the day it’s almost unbearable. I have a very high pain tolerance and do everything I can to NOT take pain medication. I’ve never felt more disrespected by a doctor in all my life.

Miss him not being in Nebraska. Was a great Dr here and treated my family with respect. Wishing he was here now as I'm having trouble with my knee right now and he's the one that took care of it the first time.

I was completely satisfied with Dr Varhan's preparing me for the surgery, his explanations and directions. I was pleased with Dr. Varhan's manner of relating to me before and after the surgery. The surgery itself went as expected and I was pleased to be able to meet my goals and Dr Varhan's goals for healing and rehab. I would highly recommend Dr. Varhan.

I would never recommend. The follow up is horrible. This Dr is now gone from this ortho team and still follow up is hard!

I contacted this doc with a specific need and a CT scan in my hand. After telling me that he could not do the surgery(above his experience ) he sent me a bill. When i disputed the bill he turned me in to collections. Not only incompetent but rude

This was the worst experience of a knee replacement of my life. They did not give me a blood thinner after surgery, had to go back in for a second surgery, I developed 3 blood clots in my lungs due to no blood thinner it has been 2 months and I never saw the Dr. after he did the second surgery he went on vacation and left me in the hospital and it just kept getting worse Avoid at all possibility.
