I have these large globs of fat on inside top of thighs. Since last Nov I have 10 more coming on. Plastic surgeon said I should check with dermatologist, so I called Dr Mutgi. I was so impressed. He was concerned about speed of these fatty tumors. Looked up my med list (diabetes) n found my Actos generic, Piolitazone,was the cause of these tumors n after it is stopped they should go away. He took the time to cross reference my meds!! So impressed with this Doctor!!

Dr. Mutgi and his staff have been nothing short of a godsend for our family, and I’m not exaggerating when I say he’s changed our lives. We are so lucky he came back to the area when he did, because we had seen every specialist and tried everything for our daughter, had pretty much given up hope of her ever being able to enjoy her childhood, and escaping the constant heartache of being unable to help her. This practice cares about their patients, treats them and their families with compassion, goes above and beyond to find solutions and are an advocate when dealing with insurance and coverage. Dr. Mutgi has a vested interest in finding answers and if he doesn’t have a solution right away, we don’t get the “oh well, it is what it is” treatment we’ve gotten from so many other doctors. He isn’t satisfied with not being able to help, so he researches and reaches out to peers, and will contact us directly with what he finds. My 4 year old has been in absolute agony for 3 years, her eczema,… viral rashes, and allergies took over her entire body and our family’s lives for as long as we can remember. Her entire body was one big relentlessly itchy, burning scab that reacted to everything and found relief from nothing. It’s been years of sleepless nights of screaming, dozens of days home from school because it was more than teachers could handle, and not being able to play with other kids and just enjoy her childhood. We’ve been in his office every other week for a year and a half, and they treat us like family and never shove us out the door to see another patient. After trying everything, a medication became available for younger kids, he let us know the minute it was a possibility and then he and his staff fought for us for months to get it approved for her. Her skin is now clear and soft, she isn’t living in a miserable bubble, and we aren’t living in a constant state of anxiety and defeat. I cannot say enough to recommend this doctor/practice, and they are exactly the kind of pediatric dermatologist this area needed. And thank you to Dr. Thaler at Dermatology Associates for referring us to them, she’s amazing and we’re very grateful that she sent us to Mercy Dermatology.

My grandson is a patient and his psoriasis is almost completely gone. Dr. Mutgi and his staff are friendly and considerate. They explain what is going on and how it will be treated so my grandson is comfortable with his care.
