Dr. Krishna Murthy Pinnamaneni, MD

The entire staff save for one woman is very rude and unprofessional and does not adhere by the ada either. Due to circumstance I had to go to this pratice and everytime I've been met with unempathetic individuals. When asked for a follow up I was told to arive at a specific date and time uncaring about my own schedule and had to call out of work just to see him. Not only that when I entered with my trained service dog I was denied entry despite the man having his own dogs in the back. On top of that when I was also denied entry for not having a mask and asked them if they had any disposable masks as I didnt have a car and it was 100 degrees outside I was told to walk a block to the nearest wallgreens and buy them. Very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful.

I'm going to state this as fairly and objectively as I can, as a current healthcare worker. When you walk in to this clinic, you are met with three things. Signs telling you to get off your cell phones, placards and awards of Dr. P's stuff, and pugs. Also, this practice is very much reliant on paper. They use paper medical notes and charts for everything. I don't even know if there's a fax machine or an email, just a number to call this place. Appointments usually run late, sometimes extremely late. For routine thyroid exam (that hard thing in your neck) I was required to strip down and put a paper gown on. What's with the paper? Doctor hand writes everything. I've been on the same dose of the same medication my whole life for my thyroid--anyone with thyroid issues knows how important it is to not change anything if it's working. He refused to refill my prescription and gave me a generic one instead. I asked him to switch back to the brand name, I was fine paying more for that as long… as I could stay on the same med. Nope, request denied. His reasoning was that it was the same exact thing. If it's the same thing why can't I just have Synthroid? I ended up having someone at ASU write me emergency scripts of Synthroid, thank god. I felt weird after taking the generic one. I never saw him again after my ultrasound, even though he wanted me to come back every month it seemed like and paying a copay of course each time. I'm used to seeing my endo back home once or twice a year! I'm nervous about getting my medical records and ultrasound back from him to send to my new doc, because from these comments it looks like he's too ancient and uncooperative to work with me and my other doctors. I know it's required by law in AZ to release your medical info, but ofc the law doesn't specify how...Pray for me...

I went to this doctor about five years ago and after reading the reviews still see that he practices the same. It was the worst experience in my life, he also did not read my previous ultrasounds and put me through the nuclear tests which were botched....called my insurance company and they didn't care. I guess we need to write to State Medical Board before any concern is addressed. He needs to be STOPPED! People should read reviews before going to their PCP referrals......

Never met a doctor with such an ego trip. Wanted to run a bunch of tests that I had done the previous month with a different dr, his reasoning, "I don't believe their reports and I look at stuff differently." Booked me for several appointments without checking with me to see if I had previous appointments booked for those days, which I did. He got upset when I called back to reschedule. I also had to have a thyroid ultrasound in his office. The tech did a great job but Pinnamaneni barged in and yelled at her her, supposedly what she was doing was wrong. He grabbed the probe and pressed down on my neck so hard I started coughing. Through out my wait I could also hear him shouting at other patients and his office staff. This moron is lucky he has a staff at all. He needs his medical license taken away. He might be a doctor on a diploma, but he's no doctor where it counts. AVOID him at all costs

No not use this doctor or office. After some initial delays with insurance information and general red tape of an insurance provider, I personally hand delivered a form that would need to be signed off by Dr. Krishna M. P. Upon having an in person conversation with Dr Krishna M. P it was confirmed he would sign off on the needed insurance pre authorization letter. The upfront staff and advised it would be completed asap and no further action was required. One week after the visit, the office staff called my cellular and advised, Dr Krishna was flighting out for business purposes and could not sign off on the letter. I later reminded them of the statement they relayed initially at which point they began to rationalize the action. They explained I would have to wait until his return to have the document completed. (Readers, Please understand at this point I have been without an insulin pump for approximately 1 month, as I am a type1 diabetic.) Acting in good faith, I was… hopeful they would execute the verbal directive and waited another week.Upon a call back to the office (after Dr Krishna's return), I was again advised I would have to wait! After taking an assertive approach to the matter and voiced my discontent. I had requested to speak with several staff members and was advised by the Supervisor of the office, If I was not satisfied with the time line or services I could look for an alternate office. It was obvious that the mind set and general character/demeanor of this office was lacking in professionalism, general execution of procedures and most importantly adhering to being a steward of this practice/profession. Further more, I would strongly advise you and your family not to visit this office. Other Doctors and staff are available in network who understand the core values of this profession and believe in customer service.

With lousy insurance we were.stuck with this doctor. After countless visits he still never did what he should have and now my loved one is medically suffering from this doctors head in the sand.

Dr. Pinnamaneni is more interested in your pocket book. When I told him I need a little time to come up with money for tests because I'm on fixed budget. He got nasty with me. I'm a diabetic. Then He said I will not help you with your insulin which a pharmaceutical company was helping me get. The next day he sent me a nasty letter saying because of your refusal to follow office procedures I'm withdrawing from helping you. as your condition requires too much continued medical attention from me.. I no longer want to see you. Do not come back.. He wouldn't even look at me. Tried asking questions I was ignored. Never had I have to undress to see a endocrinologist before. I felt very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, He is only interested in your pocket book doesn't want to help you.

I just had an appointment with him yesterday and I came out with a lab slip requesting 15 different tests. I also had to pay for an extra fee for them to do an ultrasound on my thyroid because he said it seemed swollen. The very next day when I saw my PCP, she felt my thyroid and said it was not swollen. I am 46 years old with no vitamin D deficiencies. I have never had broken bones nor do I have any related diseases in my family related to bones and he has ordered that I get a bone density test. He has no reason to request one but he has. I was asked by him a couple of times if I was exposed to radiation as a child and if I was exposed as an adult. I was also asked a couple of times if I had met my deductable. Although I already show that I have protein in my urine as I am being treated for this, he still listed on the labs that I collect urine samples for 24 hours as well as a saliva swab to look at cortisol. I was not asked a lot of questions about my health as I would expect and… instead was faced with a lot of assumptions. After awhile I just let him do his thing. I won't go back. His approach to me, as well as to my PCP is erratic and he does not explain things even after being asked. I am calling my insurance company to discuss all this as I am worried about having to pay out of pocket for the ultrasound. Truly a confusing and dubious experience.

I had this Dr for over 3 years and I'm unhappy to say it has been a very bad experience for me. His medical treatment was fairly ok but his behavior toward patience and listening to patience lacks professionalism. He is rude and controlling and he upset me often by picking on my weight which only varied within 5 pounds in either direction. He also would not prescribe a substitute medication when I had a huge zanker diverticulum in my throat and passed it off as if I should just find a pill cutter....I could not swallow, a pill cutter would do not good. i ground up the pills in a coffee grinder to get my meds down during that time. He also tried to put me on injectibles without trying any further medications forcing me to see out a second opinion. My ACL levels dropped from 7.5 to 6.8 on change of dr. so I'm certain that the stressful environment did not help me stay on track. I would not recommend him to anyone and hope no one else suffers because of unprofessional behavior.

I am a patient of Dr. Pinnamaneniâ??s for two years. It is my belief, by sheer simple calculation, during 50 years of Dr. Pinnamaneni's career, he has had over 400,000 patient contacts or healthcare decision points thus far as noted in his policies. With this high volume of service encounters, it is nearly impossible to make all patients content with his decisions regarding the best possible treatment of their personal healthcare. From reading some of the comments posted on web portals, I understand a few patients were aggrieved due to their misguided information directed towards Dr. Pinnamaneni or his services in office. I believe some of those patients, who were unfairly retributive, attempted to spread or publish misplaced opinions by posting their wrongful accusations on a few websites, such as this website. Patient's personal opinions and feelings are just their own; and unquestionably Dr. Pinnamaneni has no control of freedom of speech of those service recipients even when… they are harmful, wrong or unfair. However, in the future if one were to come across such misplaced unfair judgments, derogative disinformation and unwarranted comments questioning Dr. Pinnamaneni's professionalism or specialty competence, and one elects to believe it without neutrality before meeting Dr. Pinnamaneni, it would be best for them to find another physician immediately to protect the sacredness of the patient-physician relationship. I extracted some of the above information from Dr. Pinnamaneni's office policies and brochures I received as a patient. I fully concur with Dr. Pinnamaneni's expressed sentiment, which to me is honorable, honest and straightforward. It is my clear understanding that Dr. Pinnamaneni is not interested in getting involved in healthcare services with people that come to see him with preconceived ideas and prejudices. As a matter of fact, I asked Dr. Pinnamaneni during one of my follow ups about these blunderbuss accusations of impropriety posted on web portals. He advised me that some people unfortunately have bad experiences and end up with a hard life; and they try to project on others their difficult life experiences. I was impressed to hear Dr. Pinnamaneniâ??s forgiving and optimist view about people and life.
