Krissa Downey, AuD

Krissa Downey, Au.D, CCC-A, has been practicing in Omaha and the surrounding areas for more than 20 years. Dr. Downey is a graduate of both the University of Nebraska-Kearney and Lincoln. She also completed the prestigious Doctor of Audiology program from A.T. Still University.Dr. Downey loves working with her adult patients and has found tremendous reward in helping people who suffer from hearing loss. She is especially passionate about surgical treatments for hearing loss such as Cochlear Implants and BAHA. She also remains dedicated to the profession and feels that it is very important to guide and mentor audiology students. You may find one of these students working with Dr. Downey during your appointment.Dr. Downey is a native Nebraskan and has been living in Omaha most of her life. She enjoys reading with a hot cup of tea, cooking, and baking for her family. She also helps tend a large garden and looks forward to canning vegetables every year.
