Great doctor! Practical, no nonsense. The office is busy, disorganized and not efficient, running behind always, with unfriendly administrative staff and limited parking.

Dr. Formica is an ok pediatrician. I'm not very fond of her bedside manner and her lack of attachment to her patients. Recently I told her we would be adding our unborn child to her roster of patients and she didn't even say congratulations. She has misdiagnosed my child a couple of times even when I told her I thought she may be incorrect. She's not the worst, but not the best doctor I've ever been to.

Dr. Formica is an exemplary doctor. Never have I had a doctor call me on my cell phone to check up on my child's situation. Never have I had a doctor call me concerned with billing matters when I was worried if insurance would pay or not. Dr. Formica has truly displayed a concern for me and my family and was very gracious to us when we found out our daughter was diagnosed with a genetic disorder. She made a hurt heart hurt less.

Dr. Formica is very thorogh with all her patients. She takes the time to explain and is always knowledgable and up to date with the lastest issues, as well as latest news on the most common questions.

Dr. Formica and the doctors at Texas Children's are great. She was very open and honest about our concerns for vaccinations. My husband and I are new parents (me after a 19 year hiatus and him first) and she has helped us walk through the ins and outs of having a 10 month old.

Dr. Formica has always been professional and knowledgeable when it comes to caring for my children - and just as important - she is respectful of my opinions, my intuition and my need to ask a million questions. Her bedside manner is great and what I like is that she is no nonsense when it comes to her opinion. She refers out when health issues are in need of a specialist and willing to review multiple treatment options. She is someone I can truly work with through the care of my children and discuss my hesitations and concerns without feeling like nuisance.

I found Dr. Formica to be quite rude, snippy , and closed mindedShe recommended that my child with severe milk allergies stop breast feeding and start drinking formula. She wanted us to stop doing things that work for us and follow HER way. She treated us like uneducated beggars and acted like she was doing us a favor by telling us we do NOT KNOW BEST For our child.There are far better doctors at Texas children's pediatrics were she practices. Avoid her and avoid frustration !
