Dr. Krista Honsey, DO

Krista Honsey spent a lot of time with me to help me figure out what was wrong with my body and set up a treatment plan after seeing several physicians that could not. She thoroughly explained what her diagnosis was and was there for me every step of the way.. the diagnosis, treatment, surgery and future care plans. She comforted me when I was scared and made sure I was in great hands. I had been in excruciating pain for 4 weeks and had seen multiple other physicians prior to being referred to her and she was the only one who took the time to explain things to me in terms I could understand and actually LISTENED to me when I had questions and concerns and answered each and every one. She had great compassion and empathy. I’m very thankful for her care.

Dr. Honsey is amazing at what she does! I had never seen an OB/GYN before, and I found her online, saw some reviews, and wanted to see what she was like. I am so glad I did! I came in asking questions about different birth control options that would work for me, she explained everything in great detail, explained the pros and cons, and answered any questions I had with great confidence. She made me feel very comfortable, when I was clearly nervous, and was able to make me laugh! By the end we were telling jokes and I felt like I left with a friend, as weird as it may sound! I had some complications after my procedure, and she was able to respond to my messages within a few hours to a day. I had the answers and care that I needed when I needed it. I will definitely be going back to her! Hopefully to deliver my babies someday too!

Dr. Honsey gave me a feeling of both expertise and ease upon first meeting her. She is a great listener, never makes me feel like she is rushed, and is easy to talk to. I came to see her with a recommendation from a friend, and have since recommended her to others who are looking for a great OBGYN doctor.
