Dr. Krista Toomre, MD

I am always impressed by her knowledge. She's the kind of Doctor that puts all of the pieces together to develop a total plan. Grateful to be one of her patients.

Dr. Toomre has been my primary care physician for many years and I have been pleased to refer to many friends. She is compassionate, thorough, supportive and professional. Her nurse Lori is very sweet and professional as well. The front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating when you need to be worked into the schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Toomre if you are looking for a dedicated, caring and excellent physician!

I love Dr. Toomre and feel that she really listens to me and considers the options. However, the office leaves much to be desired. They are rude, dismissive, and treat you like you are bothering them. I find myself apologizing to them when it is they that should be sincerely apologizing.

How many physicians in today's electronic push them in, push them out" medical care world can you say embody all three of those characteristics. She is at the "top of her game" bar none

Dr. Toomre has been my primary care physician for almost 13 years and she is the best! She makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world when you meet with her. And when my husband had a major medical issue and his primary care physician needed to be replaced, Dr. Toomre agreed to take care of my husband as well. She is the consummate professional and a pleasure to deal with.

I highly recommend Dr. Toomre. She truly cares about her patients, spends the time necessary to properly diagnose your problem. Staff is courteous. Will find the time to work you into her busy schedule if needed.

The wait is sometimes long only because she takes her time with each patient - she is thoughtful, thorough and patient. She has been my family's doctor for many years. My only hope is that she never retires - heads and shoulders above other Sarasota doctors.
