Dr. Kristen Ann Vergara Mendoza, MD

Dr. Kristen Mendoza is an ophthalmologist who also holds expertise in internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine & Public Health and has been practicing for 11 years. Her dual specialization allows her to provide comprehensive eye care while understanding how systemic health conditions may affect vision.

Dr. Mendoza is affiliated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, and Saint Elizabeth Florence Hospital. She practices at multiple Midwest Eye Center locations in Crestview Hills, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as the Eastgate Eye Clinic And Surgery Center in Cincinnati. Her clinical focus includes treating glaucoma and cataracts, two of the most common vision-threatening conditions. She performs cataract surgery and intraocular lens implants to help patients regain clear vision, and conducts comprehensive eye exams for early detection and management of eye diseases.
