Dr. Kristen Elizabeth Burhans, MD

Dr. Kristen Burhans is an obstetrician and gynecologist who earned her medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo. She completed her residency training at Strong Memorial Hospital, where she developed expertise in women's healthcare across all life stages. With 15 years of experience in practice, Dr. Burhans has built a comprehensive understanding of both routine gynecologic care and obstetric services.

Dr. Burhans practices at multiple locations throughout Rochester, including Strong Memorial Hospital and Highland Hospital. She specializes in managing abnormal Pap test results and addressing postmenopausal vaginal bleeding concerns. Her practice also includes breast cancer screening services and supporting mothers with breastfeeding challenges, particularly those managing diabetes during nursing.
