Dr. Kristen Elizabeth Decarlo, MD

She was the on-call Endocrinologist for my Sliding glucose, where I had a reading that was 447 before bedtime. She was very unprofessional over the phone, and rude, mean, degrading, unprofessional, and easily got upset, coz I had to call the answering service regarding the elevated glucose. She gave the incorrect dosage for the fast-acting insulin, so I had corrected her. Her argumentative misdemeanor was unbecoming. Beware, seek a different specialist. I have tried to explain my condition. I had recently been diagnosed as LADA (Latent Auto-immune Diabetes in Adults), but insists it shows type-2 in the EPIC system under my endocrinologist. To avoid further stress and anxiety caused by her, I finally just told her to focus on the matter at hand and resolve the insulin/glucose issue. I went to ask what her recommendation is considering her assumption that, if I truly am, type-2 diabetic patient. I expect good graces since I had given her the respect she requires.
