I am one of the rare people who has seen her childhood dream come true I wanted to be a pediatrician from a very young age. I feel so fortunate to have realized that dream of taking care of children and adolescents.??
The most satisfying part of my job is establishing a relationship with a family and having the privilege of watching that family grow and mature over time. I feel that my role in that relationship is to offer information and guidance so that families can make informed, educated decisions about their childs medical care.??
I grew up in Rhode Island in a close family and fully expected to return there after completing my medical training, but Maines beauty swept me off my feet! My husband and I decided to stay in Maine and we love raising our young children here. We enjoy visiting the beaches at all times of year and appreciate being less than an hour from skiing in the winter.
??I am a graduate of Brown University and the University of New England College of …Osteopathic Medicine, and completed my residency training in pediatrics at Maine Medical Center. I continue to be involved with both UNECOM and the pediatrics department at Maine Medical Center as an instructor of medical students and residents.
