I would give zero stars if I could. The doctor acted annoyed she even had to treat my child. Horrible bedside manner. She undermined my husband and I and insulted us numerous times. The doctor wouldn’t even hear us out with making rude statements. I left in tears due to her treatment of us as parents, let alone the treatment my child received.

Dr. Powell is our absolute favorite Doctor. If I had to describe a word that describes what she brings to us it would be PEACE. From the very start of our child’s life, she brought us peace during a very scary time 15 years ago when our son was 3 days old. She was so calm and brought us great peace when we were told our son would need to be transported to the hospital in a rescue squad. Being new parents, we were so scared but she handled it perfectly. She has also been so calm, peaceful, and understanding during every visit over the last 15 years. It’s so easy to take for granted these relationships but they really are priceless! She has such great experience and wisdom! I recently had a heart to heart conversation with Dr. Powell about my child’s health and I was so thankful that she was honest and encouraging in a way that helped me be a better parent! We are truly thankful that she has been a part of our life for the last 15 years.

Kristen Powell has administered to all three of our children. We think that she is wonderful. She provides great (timely, accurate, informative, relevant) advice when we ask/need it to ensure the best care for our growing family. She has been available to us at normal/routine and odd (off) hours. She demonstrates a consistent caring, professional attitude and our children love her. We are very happy with her being an integral part of our family's health care approach.

We love doctor Powell! She has been the pediatrician for our family for the past 11 years. She is wonderful!!

I agree with the review above. Dr Powell was very rude and uncaring. She never did acknowledge my baby and/or really listen to what I had to say about her symptoms and how we were currently attempting to treat. I suppose it is asking too much to expect your child to be acknowledged, talked to sweetly, and treated like a tiny, scared human with feelings (my child was in a lot of pain). Like stated above, she was condescending and often interjected when I was attempting to explain my baby's primary issue. I'm sorry she must have missed it as a surgeon and got stuck in a pediatric office. Note: I put a 2/5 for accurate diagnosis. I had already diagnosed my child prior to coming in, so there wasn't much "diagnosing" left to do. I would have liked more actual assessment time and consideration of a bigger picture instead of giving me the run of the mill diagnoses and treatment plan.

Dr Powell was rude and uncaring. She was condescending and disregarded what we had to tell her about the baby's symptoms. I will never take my grandchildren to see her again.
