Dr. Seiler mis-read a CT scan and classic symptoms missing an obvious problem that could have been remedied by urgent surgery. Instead, the child became gravely ill over the course of 3 days, as a result of not receiving the proper treatment. Additionally, medications not indicated were ordered/given, which further caused harm. A second surgeon was called in to review the situation who, thank God, immediately initiated proper medical treatment and took the child to surgery. He saved the child's life. Dr Seiler's diagnostic and assessment skills were abysmal. Even as the child was taken to surgery by the second surgeon, she said she doubted the child had the problem that surgeon #2 quickly identified and properly treated. The realization she still didn't recognize the errors she'd made at that point led me to submit this review. May 19, 2026
