This Doctor is horrible and doesn’t care if you die. She is too busy putting down her fellow coworkers and colleagues than diagnosing and addressing her patients health concerns properly. She misdiagnosed me and complained on other staff. I was charged 10,000 dollars just for blood work. She is condescending, arrogant, unethical, and aloof. I had to go to another healthcare facility the same day to get oral antibiotics for the upper respiratory infection she refused to treat.

I had a great experience I wish more doctors were like her!

This has to be one of the worse doctors ever. She lied about not having a MRI machine in A ER. She completely disregarded my brothers symptoms. She walked away while she was being talked too. A person like this is the reason why many people hate hospitals and doctors in general. She has no compassion and horrible bed side manner. I can go on about how much of a horrible doctor she is. I will never step foot in a Florida hospital. A hospital that hires a doctor like is a disgrace. I will pay however much to go to any other hospital besides Fl hospital.

Having Colon Cancer 5 years ago, I felt the same symptoms and immediately went to Florida Hospital were all my records were at. I was checked in, in a timely manner and was taken to the ER for further analysis. Dr. Vandervelde was my assigned Doctor and she proceeded to ask me questions about my prior conditions. Being a retired firefighter with 35 years experience, her bedside manner in my opinion was nothing short of professional. Within 20 minutes I was on my way to get a scan of my mid section. Dr. Vandervelde can back into the exam room after she received the results and explained everything to me in plain and simple English. I did not have to go up to her level, she came down to mine and I understood everything she told me. Within a few days everything was back to normal. Bottom line is Dr. Vandervelde is a five star doctor. Over my 35 year career as a firefighter in Orange County and having the opportunity to interact with many doctors, Dr. Vandervelde is… professional, polite and smart enough to know how to talk to patients so that they are not intimidated but well informed about their health issue. This is what I expected and that is exactly what I received. Well done Doctor Vandervelde!!

She is the most disrespectful and outright pompous doctor I have ever seen. Even while I was in pain I tried to convey my illness and possible causes but somehow she considered that as an insult to her medical degree and was very condescending through out our meeting. She ended up giving me a wrong diagnosis and didn't even afford to give me an explanation. Thankfully I went to a different doctor and he gave me an antibiotics for my illness.
