Dr. Cowell was my sons' primary for many years before she moved out of state. She always had time for them and for me. She never shied away from a question or concern and always would seek out an answer she didn't know. Having two high function special needs sons required a doctor who would take the time to care for them in a loving and caring manner. She was more than competent, professional, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and all around the best doctor we have every had or visited. We are very sad that she no longer practices in the area but are happy for her and her family that they may pursue what is right for them. I HIGHLY recommend her as a doctor or as a friend. She always took the time to talk to us , be it over the phone, email or in person, during or after business hours, or about any topic regarding my sons' mental and physical health. She never treated us with anything but kindness and compassion. Whoever gets her as a doctor is truly blessed.

She does not listen to you. She thinks she knows it all just because she is a mother of 2 girls. Not every kid is perfect and not every family can afford all the help she employs to raise 2 kids. She is condescending and judgemental.

A very caring and professional physician. She spends considerable time trying to nail down the correct diagnosis. She is very busy but what primary care physicians are not busy?
