Dr. Kristi Hamilton Mckenzie, MD

She was a very good doctor but when my son is now 3 and his circumcision still looks terrible. It keeps getting red and his skin keeps coming apart. Another woman I work with has the same problem with her 3 year old, he had to have it re-done. Ask for someone else to do your son's circumcision!

Dr. McKenzie was my OBGYN through my entire pregnancy and delivered my son. She was amazing the entire way! Her staff was extremely kind, tentative and respectful. I absolutely loved having her and her staff through my 1st pregnancy.

I love Dr. McKenzie!! She delivered my second child and i couldn't have asked for a better doctor. She took her time during my prenatal visits, listened to all my questions and concerns, and genuinly showed care and conpassion for me and my husband. After my son arrived she checked on me daily and made sure i was healing properly. I hate that she is leaving and feel that the women in Texas are lucky to have her!

Dr. McKenzie spent time with me , and I know with her schedule, it was above and beyond. I had her complete attention, and she answered all of my questions. Thank you so much!

I would choose this doctor over any other, and am devastated that she is moving to Texas--lucky Texas women! She is pleasant, friendly, and very well-informed. I got the impression from the first time I met her that she LISTENS to what her patient is saying. She explained in detail what her thoughts were, each time we came to a turn in the road, and listened to my questions and to my own thoughts. When we eventually agreed that I would need a hysterectomy, she was careful to make sure I understood all my options, and the results of each. No one is excited about surgery, but I can honestly say that one thing I was NOT worried about was my doctor's abilities in the operating room! I not only would refer her to a friend, I already have, many times. I just cannot believe that this great good doctor, woman, and PERSON is leaving! :-(

Went to her for my first birth, I had a wonderful experience with her, she was there for me through the whole pregnancy and post pregnancy, I couldn't ask for a better doctor, she is a very caring person and made me feel 100% comfortable, I saw her as a second mother which was very comforting during my pregnancy, not to mention she has the sweetest assistant. If and when I have another child I will definetly go to her again.

Dr. McKenzie was fine during all the prenatal visits, but when we got closer to D-day things were not as good. I needed an induction due to a medical condition, but when we went in, she wasn't around for a long time. After they said I was 'ready' we waited another 2+ hours before she was available, and the baby got distressed and we had to go to c-section. Afterward, I saw more on-call docs than I saw her, even though she said she didn't do that (use hospitalists). It was a scary couple of days (I had some complications) and I hardly saw her, much less got answers/comfort/support. It might have just been a busy few days for her, as I heard there were a lot of births, but I would not use her again.

I had the worst experience

I have been to see her about 3 times now and her and her office staff are GREAT!!! They care so much about you and your problems and questions and act like your there best friend and known them all your life
