Dr. Kristi Sue Moffat, MD

Do not see this doctor if you suffer from depression. I was her patient, I saw her for a follow up last month. I was very depressed that day, we had a hypothetical conversation about suicide . She asked me if I wanted to commit it, I said no , she did not want me to drive ( which was dumb, I drove there and only had a ten minute drive home, I was fine) she said she was going to call my Husband, I did not want that, he is still working, so I left. I got in my car and the next thing I know, I am being ripped out of my car and thrown down in the parking lot by the Duvall police ( while this doctor stood flirting and laughing with the fire men that were there) I was screaming for her to help me, as I am disabled with horrible back problems. I was then strapped to a gurney as if I was a real threat to someone, and hauled off to the mental department of evergreen hospital! The EMT Robert was very kind and just as confused as I was as to why they were doing this to me. He was told I… was having a nervous break down, but he didn't see that in me and untied me. He told me what to expect when we arrived at the hospital, he was very kind. Long story short, I was checked out, found to be fine, and sent home. Here is the worst part, I don't know what this doctor has attached to my name, but now, I can't get a doctor to except me, after taking pain medication for seven years and still need it , I lost them as nobody would except me. Also know, she will tell you to stay off the computer, don't be an advocate of your own health! Problem with that, I had figured out that the meds she had me on were causing me kidney disease , I did that through researching my symptoms on the internet. Once I figured it out, I asked her to run the test to be sure. She would not, telling me I did not have it. I had to stay on her for weeks, before she agreed to do the test. I was right, it came back that I was in stage one ! I asked her months later if she still puts her patients on the very medicine that was proven to cause it, she said yes! I take thyroid medication that I will have to stop taking soon as I won't have anymore and still can't get a family doctor. She is NOT a good doctor. Beware....

Dr. Moffat is very easy to talk to, she's understanding, and spends the time you need to take care of your health concerns. I've known a lot of doctors over the years, I'm a nurse of 28 yrs, and I'd definitely recommend her.

Abusive rude Doc. Will not listen or help sick people. told may with chest pain to leave while I was there.

Kristi is excellent for listening to the patient to glean as much information as possible from the patient. She then takes this info and does the exam. She talks to the patient about what she is going to do or doing during the exam which helps alleviate anxiety. Excellent communication to the patient regarding diagnosis and treatment. Woulld recommend her to anyone wanting a caring, listening doctor with a soft touch during exams.

Dr. Moffat has an calming way of making U feel comfortable. She LISTENS, and then she brings your personal circumstance into the equazion before reccomending and prescibing. Her staff all work to make it welcoming. This doctor is in the HERE and NOW. I've seen her interact with small children to the elderly with the same compassion. Highly recomended.
