Dr. Self is a very compassionate, intelligent, and competent doctor. She is an excellent listener and will patiently answer your questions and develop treatment goals to meet your specific needs. She always greets you with a big smile and is genuinely happy to see you. She has been my treasured physician/physiatrist for over 10 years. "She knows her stuff!!!"

8 year patient, staff and Dr. treat you as their equal, not as a meal ticket. I ramble when I talk and she always listens. 8 years now. She has never made me feel less than. Short wait time every time and she is very knowledgable.

I was so impressed with Dr Self on my first meeting and introduction not only with her, but her staff. She is very caring, knowledgeable and no nonsense. Love her.

Dr. Self has been my physician since 1995. She is most caring and attentive and treats the "whole" patient and not just for her speciality. I feel that another physician might have pushed me into having surgery, however, Dr. Self works patiently with other therapies.

In referrence to a family member who was treated by Dr. Self on an in-patient basis: 1) Failed to discuss post-rehab needs with patient and family members. 2) Failed to provide follow-up care, instructions and appointments with proper physicians and therapists.3) Rarely returned calls.4) Failed to provide treatment after patient complained of ailments for 4 days!5) Incorrectly wrote 3 prescriptions causing a 6-hour delay in patient receiving necessary medication.6) When we confronted Dr. Self to find out why she hadn't discussed any post-rehab care with us she was incredibly condescending and said we should know what to do.Our experience was so bad we are reporting her to the Oklahoma Medical Board. Our experience needs to be on permanent record. After reading other reviews, it's obvious we're not the first people she's treated this way. Dr. Self is morally deficient...why practice medicine if you don't care about the wellness of your patients?

This doctor was short and rude!!!! She did not allow me a say so in my recovery care.....very bossy and unapproachable....I am changing doctor ASAP....I had to wait a long time to be seen and the office atmosphere was so unfriendly!!!!
