Dr. Kristin Colleen Byrne, MD

Dr. Byrne is the type of Doctor you don’t need to read reviews before you go see her. If you want someone who is going to find whether or not you have breast cancer, go see her. Don’t read the nonsense reviews about her personality blah blah blah, she is top notch and even the greatest chefs have a bad day and a burnt dinner. Her integrity is impeccable and she tries her best every single time. She sees patients all day long and is always always looking out for their best interests. If you have the honor to have her as your Doctor, you will be in good hands for the the rest of her career. We have gone to several places for mammo, sonograms and biopsies in years past until Dr. Pauline Hecht [may she rest in peace] told us that Dr. Byrne is the only breast radiologist she truly trusted. Fantastic doctor and human being.

I am a 76 year old two time cancer survivor....I was recommended to Dr Byrne two days ago by a renowned women’s radiologist for a biopsy of my breast....Dr Byrne made me mentally and physically comfortable as she performed the biopsy while keeping me informed during the entire procedure.....her demeanor was kind and caring and professional throughout the few hours I was on the table....Dr Byrne also treated the attending hospital staff with a genuine warm attitude which was returned by the staff.....Hopefully, the biopsy will turn out in my favor....

If you find a Doctor that shows sympathy and cares for you, please write a review. This is what I told myself when I met Dr. Byrne. The way this Doctor cares for you is unusual and unexpected, she makes you feel like you are her best friend or her sister the moment you have a problem and you need her help. She takes the time to explain what you are going through and she is an amazing person and human being. Be patient when you go see her because you will be getting a personalized visit and it takes time so plan your day accordinly and don't think that it will be fast, you won't regret being in her care. We have been to so many places for mamograms and breast sonograms and never encountered a Doctor like Dr. Byrne. I am running out of words to describe her. She is just an exceptional Doctor and person.

Dr. Byrne has given me excellent care over the past 10 years. She is thorough, detailed and concerned about my diagnosis. Dr. Byrne has excellent follow through, she has always reponded promptly to my questions. I feel her dedication is unmatched and I highly recommend her and Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Byrne has the most exceptional up-to-date knowledge, professionalism, and bedside manner of any physician I have encountered. She is thorough and highly skilled at comforting the patient while making the best diagnosis and overall experience possible. I would recommend her in a heart beat to my friends and family.

the worst doctor ive ever met. NEVER returned my phone calls or explained the procedure to me beforehand, worst part she caused me nerve damage in a simple biopsy procedure, and then had the gall to bill me for it, after insurance paid her.
