Dr. Kristin Nigro Kranz, MD

She looked at my chest x-ray and told me I had emphysema!!!!!! This was the worst news I could’ve gotten at 40 yrs old.. After going to a pulmonary specialist, I DID NOT have it ! He said you cannot tell from an X-ray. Need many tests. She’s a wanna-be and hates smokers. Judgemental , rushed, uninformed, money-hungry. Only good thing is that I did quit smoking ??

I had been going to Dr. Kranz for years. I had not had a problem until my last visit. I had a physical and wanted to discuss my health. I am fully aware that when I am at the Dr. your time is short and was not being demanding or doing anything outrageous. While trying to talk with her she cut me off and told me "well I only have 20 min and you just through in a pap on me, so." (this was after she talked me into the pap. I was just going to go to my OBGYN) At the end of the visit, she just walked out. I was waiting for her to come back and the nurse just came back. I guess my 20 min. was up! I have never left a Dr. appt. feeling so neglected or angry. To top it off, she ordered extra bloodwork after I asked her to only do the normal ones that would be covered by insurance. I got my bill for the bloodwork and it was over $900, and I have good insurance. They didn't cover 8 of the tests she ordered. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but she was very unprofessional that day… and I won't be back.

Dr. Kranz has been instrumental in getting my life back on track since I have experienced immense grief and anxiety. She is kind and has many useful suggestions. She has alternate suggestions that other doctors just may give prescriptions for. I consider her a friend as well as a doctor.

I am a new patient of Dr. Kranz and I found her to be nothing but friendly, supportive and easy to discuss my concerns with. The staff is friendly and know exactly what they're doing and they did everything quickly and efficiently. I made a great choice with choosing Dr. Kranz based on a recommendation from a friend which was the best decision I could make regarding my health.

She is Great!

When a patient in her care, the problems arise when you see the DO, and the nurse practioners in addition to Dr. Kranz. Have seen evidence of the "right hand not knowing what the left hand did". Just make sure you're aware of your own health and medications and if your advice doesn't sound right - ASK!!

This Dr. treats you as she would want to be treated. Receptionist was very friendly and pleasant. Nurse was excellent.

Dr. kranz staff is what keeps her patients! She is rushed and rude... time to move on after last week to a new doc!

Dr. Kranz was my Doctor for over 11 years during a very trying time in my life. She went above and beyond what she needed to do to help me. She is very knowledgable as well as compassionate with all issues you need to discuss with her. I would recommend her to anyone needing a great Doctor!
